Gastro-oesophageal Screening Log

2018 was our best year yet for recruitment to the gastro-oesophageal cohort! Many thanks to all of you who have contributed to this success with your hard work.

As we move forward into 2019 we would like to work with you to maximise recruitment potential. Our best months in 2018 saw us recruit 20 patients and this is the rate we would like to aim for.

We know that finding these patients, and tracking them through their treatment pathway can be challenging. To assist you in recruiting these patients to Add-Aspirin we have created gastro-oesophageal cohort specific screening logs. We will be using these initially for a period of 6 months to see if they can help track patients through the screening processes, and also high-light any recurring reasons for patients not entering the study.

You will be provided with a gastro-oesophageal cohort specific screening log. This is also available for download from the members area (Trial documents - ISF) along with the most recent gastro recruitment newsletter.

When using your screening log please ensure the following:

- Please record every patient screened on the log, even those who do not enter the study.
- When a participant does not enter the trial please ensure you have indicated the screen fail reason, us-ing the code at the bottom of the log.
- Please return your completed screening log to us at the end of each month for review via our mailbox at: mrcctu.add-aspirin@ucl.ac.uk
